Job Overview: ANW is seeking District Managers for King County. This position is responsible for ensuring the execution of sales plans within an assigned territory through a focus on the sales team and key account management. We are looking for someone to not only lead, but to help build a sales team and define the success of their region for years to come. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 
Distribution Management -  
Manage and oversee all market activities through organization, ensuring that efforts are focused on appropriate accounts, territory, and channels to achieve ANW’s short and long-term sales objectives. 
Execute market level sales and marketing activities/programs to achieve brand, volume, KPIs, and sustained performance. 
Develop and implement plans and activities to ensure assigned sales team members have the information needed to execute successfully against the ANW portfolio plans and to meet assigned depletion and account growth goals. 
Follow up and develop plans to address market gaps and performance issues. 
Effectively leverage sales team to support key account activities as needed. 
Train and assist sales personnel to conduct brand presentations to key on-premise staff at targeted accounts to ensure the proper implementation of brand strategies for all brands. 

Key Account Management -

Skills, Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree required - preferably in Business Administration or some related field of study
Three to five years experience with on and off-premise alcoholic beverage sales
Two years experience in a managerial role
Solid understanding of business financials and experience in managing a budget
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with key customers & stakeholders
Familiarity with product sales - ability to develop compelling selling stories to grow distribution and volume sales
Ability to manage multiple priorities and experience in working with a multi-brand portfolio

Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required

Completing daily deliveries to a variety of customers
Assessing delivery vehicle for maintenance issues at the beginning of each shift
Alerting Warehouse Supervisor of any maintenance or vehicle issues
Abiding by company standards and safety policies, as well as state driving laws
Checking orders before loading into delivery vehicle
Self-managing their daily delivery schedule to ensure accounts are delivered to
Merchandising product and building displays as needed in retail locations
Checking in product, collecting payment and adjusting invoices as needed
Reconciling driver packets, returns and refusals upon return to warehouse

Requirements:
Possess a current WA State driver’s license with a history of no more than one moving violation, no suspensions or at fault accidents in the last three years. No DUI/DWI convictions in the last 7 years

Must have the ability to repetitively lift, pull and push 70+ pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach

American Northwest Distributors is looking for ambitious and driven individuals to fill the position of territory merchandiser. 

This position will fill an integral role on our sales teams by supporting the retail accounts in their assigned territory. In this position, the candidate will use their personal vehicle (subsidized by a car allowance) to travel to multiple assigned retail accounts on a given day. Once there, the candidate will work independently while communicating with our sales team, delivery drivers, operations team and store personnel. 

Primary responsibilities include stocking delivered product onto shelves, into cold boxes and displays and managing vendor back stock. This is also a creative role that can be played by helping to build wine and spirits displays that are sold into the individual stores. Consistent communication with the sales team will be a critical aspect of this position, as information about out of stocks, inventory concerns, customer feedback, etc. will need to be passed on. 

This is a great entry level position in our organization, and for those that are successful, it can be a conduit to becoming a sales professional in the alcohol beverage industry. 

Qualifications 

High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 1-2 years related experience

American Northwest Distributors is seeking an experienced Receiving Clerk / Inventory Control Specialist for our Seattle warehouse. This position is a hybrid position, owning the inventory integrity and accuracy of our main Seattle warehouse and is an integral part of our operations team.

Primary duties will include but not be limited to:

Accurately log and confirm all inbound vendor and in/outbound transfer shipments
Verify case counts against shipper BOLs
Verify all shipment quantities and products against ANW purchase orders
Receive product into inventory management system
Maintain accurate paperwork and computer inventory
Work with warehouse operations team to designate pick and backstock locations for product prior to arrival
Report product receipt, discrepancies and carrier damage to SCM
Monitor and report product changes, including vintage, UPC, packaging, and case counts to SCM
Confirm lot changes upon receipt, verify counts on current stock prior to receipt
Maintain regular inventory cycle count calendar
Oversee quarterly inventory counts
Work with Operations leadership to research and reconcile inventory discrepancies
Send receiving, new item and OOS reports to sales and management teams

Key features of this role include general sales support of our Washington based sales team including general receptionist duties, managing of invoicing and the point of sale system, pricing files, catalog maintenance, and website updates.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
Support a Sales team of 25+ Account Managers by managing invoicing, NowCommerce, SevenFifty, and portfolio maintenance
Provide general reception/customer service assistance by answering phones, greeting clients, monitoring office supply inventory, etc.
Assist in managing external marketing campaigns through MailChimp
Update company website through use of Squarespace
Provide other administrative and data entry support in related departments
Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company/manager’s discretion
Administer and manage pricing files, item maintenance, and invoicing for Washington chain retail accounts

Desired Experience: 
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
